The Space Portable silver-colored armored brass container padlock has been designed for use with safes mounted on the full range of shipping containers, including 8′, 10′, 20′ and 40′ used containers and single-trip containers. Don’t forget that if you have an open-sided container or a double-ended (tunnel) door container, you’ll need 2 padlocks per container. We believe the padlock will also fit all standard post boxes normally suitable for used and one trip shipping containers and we provide a 30-day no quibble refund service if, in the unlikely event that the padlock doesn’t fit a shipping container post box and you return the lock to us.

The main feature of the lock is the 5-pin cylinder which offers excellent pick resistance, the fully wrapped design is further protected by the container safe when fitted to the shipping container. With a weight of 0.88 kg, this is a robust lock, and the combination of these features offers excellent security and protection against bolt cutters and other attempts to gain access to your storage container. The shackle is hardened steel with a diameter of 11 mm, a horizontal shackle clearance of 29 mm and a vertical clearance of 15 mm. The lock is 80 mm long and 30 mm wide.
